The Hobbit Country Inn is Murder Mystery UK's main client and a venue we have been utilising since the beginning of 1992 - it really does feel like our second home sometimes!

You will find The Hobbit Country Inn  nestling on a steep hillside in the little hamlet of Norland on the outskirts of Halifax, West Yorkshire. The original building was constructed over one hundred years ago - having been added to with sympathetic extensions that have enhanced the original buildings. The Hobbit has fourteen bedrooms, Dining Area and Banqueting Suite. There are 2 spacious car parks for patrons.

The Murder Mystery takes place in the Banqueting Suite, which can seat around eighty guests. The dinner is a very important part of the whole evening at The Hobbit and guests receive a menu when they book in order to choose from the fine selection of courses available.

The Hobbit arrange many theme nights and so it is usually possible to book a weekend break with an event on the Friday evening and then the Murder Mystery on the Saturday evening. In addition to this, they are licensed until 2am..
